Been busy; built a new app to help me find Zero Tolerance violators on x10hosting’s free servers; it needs some work but it’s working good enough for now!

Other than that, not much new that’s actually coded. I’ve got an idea brewing for a Gangsters style game (look it up; it’s old and doesn’t play nice on anything remotely recent it seems), still tossing around ideas for ways to make it fun to play, but also long. I’m hoping to make maps that could easily take an hour or two to play through, just on complexity grounds, but keeping it easy enough to start learning in a hurry.

WordPress says on the 18th; it’s the 25th now and I finally got something actually put together with it.

Still not ready to release though; almost none of the app is set to help prevent itself from crashing. Looks good and does work pretty good though so far!

Nothing, for once.

Finally figured out plugin’s in c# – royal pain to put it lightly, but at least I got it working enough to start doing some stuff.

Other than that, there’s not been a whole lot going on.  I’ve got some ideas for games and whatnot still rattling around my head, but other than that, very little’s going on here.

Just hasn’t been that much new or exciting going on I guess. But we’re still alive, oddly enough

LWHQ Forums renamed to GamEscape Forums in conjunction with http://gamescapeonline.blogspot.com/ , which is ran by a buddy of mine. Our old forum host XSOrbit tanked and we had the forums up in the mean time. Then Bravehost limited themselves to 5mb and everything went sideways for the moment, but it looks like things are stable enough again to keep the forums up.

Woo!

Worked on WeatherSpy for myself a bit (basically a weather applet to tell me when the National Weather Service has issued a severe watch/warning for my area); needs more work but it’s plenty good for what I needed it for at the moment.

Other than that, very little’s happening at Livewire HQ. More than 6 projects have been started, and so far all 6 are on the sidelines. Mosaic Maker’s only on the side though cause it’s pretty well done, but it’s a slow app unless you’re on liquid cooled multicore.

I say liquid cooled cause if it’s air cooled like mine, it’ll probably overheat; the app tends to go 100% on all cores available for 30 minutes if you have it work on something absolutely huge.

Drive’s in and working, slowly moving through the remainder of my discs to burn.

Slowly only due to laziness, not due to the drive itself. Damn thing’s like a rock so far

It reads fine but now it’s failing to burn iso’s that are in perfect condition without errorring out.

I know it’s a perfect iso because it’s the same iso I burned a month ago and that one burned wonders. Time to hit up Newegg for a pile of awesome.

It’s having issues burning a few differnet iso’s, although I’m still working on figuring out if it is the iso itself or the media, or if it really is the drive.

I’m leaning towards it being either media or drive, because the iso itself is working fine, and when mounted back onto the pc with Daemon Tools I can re-use DvdFab to re-rip it – one would think if the iso was the issue, I wouldn’t be able to use a ripping app to re-rip the disc again.

I’ve actually got my drive re-burning a movie that failed (miscompares and unrecoverable read errors) right now, but there’s one thing that confuses me. The dvd player downstairs appears to have no issue playing it back.

Maybe it’s just part of the disc thats bad or something funky.

I hate PHPBB3′s patching system; it spends more time hashing and comparing files than it does actually patching.

Upgraded to MyBB and got most of the stuff off the other forums; the stuff that’s missing is stuff I opted not to keep.
